Professor Joseph C.P. Shieh is a distinguished scholar and financial executive with extensive experience in academia, corporate leadership, and public service. He has served on numerous government and public-interest committees and as an independent director of listed companies. His previous executive roles include Executive Vice President of Mega Financial Holding Company, Chief Financial Officer of Chunghwa Telecom, and Chairman of Chunghwa Investment. Throughout his career, he has led major financial sector consolidation initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, and venture investments. He is also a prolific author in the field of finance.
